Butcher Creek Home - Garage and Entry for this home is on the top level. Enter the great room, with sitting area and gas fireplace, open gourment kitchen and formal dining area. Views south capture the ski runs directly across the valley, and to the west overlook the Valley Floor. The deck on the west side of the home has a large gas grill and shares the westward views. On this level is a bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with shower.
Down one level are two bedrooms, the first with two twin beds, in-suite bathroom with shower; the second with queen bed, TV/DVD, and in-suite bathroom with steam-shower. A study with queen sofa-sleeper is on this level, and also has its own bathroom with shower. Access to the outdoor hot tub is from this floor.
Down one more level, there is a media room with foosball table, giant flat-screen TV and more. The fourth bedroom is off this room, with a queen bed. The bathroom with shower-tub combo and utility room with washer/dryer are down the short hall.
A stay in this simply luxurious home includes use of the Jeep garaged there. And though everything in the town of Telluride is within 15-minute walking distance, it's nice to shuttle over to Lift #7 with the ski gear, or cruise to the far end of main street for dinner. The caretaker on site is pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping services during the stay would be available on request, but generally include only the preparation and check-out cleaning. |
